Litigation

GluckWalrath’s litigation team is highly accomplished in trying a wide range of matters on behalf of its private and public clients in the federal and State trial courts and the State Office of Administrative Law. The Firm has had particular success in representing public entities with politically and economically charged issues.

For example:

In its role as general counsel for the New Jersey Highway Authority, various county utilities and improvement authorities, GluckWalrath has effectively litigated numerous cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars. On behalf of its private clients, the Firm has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, employment matters, land use, contract, regulatory and constitutional claims.

In addition, GluckWalrath has expertise in handling a full spectrum of civil litigation in the state and federal appellate courts. Some of the Firm’s most significant achievements, on behalf of clients, involved pre-complaint resolution of confidential matters for a number of prominent companies and individuals. The attorneys’ efforts to resolve conflicts at an early stage reflects a commitment to avoid the expense, delay and uncertainty of litigation.

However, when negotiations prove fruitless, GluckWalrath has the capability to litigate matters to a successful conclusion relying upon the talents of its litigation team, led by Andrew Bayer. Mr. Bayer is a former Deputy Attorney General who has been trying civil and regulatory matters for clients, both public & private, for over fourteen years.
